Vibes Music Festival is a not-for-profit music and arts festival, bringing together community and friends to connect, share and celebrate life in the beauty of nature.  With great music, rejuvenating classes and plenty of fresh air, we welcome you to be part of the second annual Vibes Music Festival.

​We have a superb lineup of artists and facilitators who are set to light up the space and turn your heart on! We will definitely be raising the Vibes this weekend as we gather together to uplift and inspire one another. 

 

This is a leave no trace event. Please be respectful of the land and the wonderful cpeoplewho have kindly agreed for us to host our gathering here.

This is an inclusive event, please treat others with respect and kindness.

​

We do not permit or sell alcohol. Please do not bring  glass bottles, weapons, fireworks, or bad attitudes. For the peace and enjoyment of others, generators, amplified music and renegade stages are not allowed in the camping area.

Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking areas.  There will be no smoking on the dance floor or in the workshop area.

Please keep the space and your camping area clean. Please bring a bag and recycling bag for your waste. This is a pack it in/ pack it out event. Portable barBQs are welcome.  No Fires except in the communal fire pit. 

 

There will be porta potties onsite with hand washing stations and sanitizer.  

 

We have a no pets policy.

VIBES MUSIC FESTIVAL COVID-19 SAFETY.  Please read carefully.

 

We want to keep everyone safe and healthy at Vibes Festival! Please read the following so you are fully aware of the COVID-19 safety protocol. Thank you so much. We love you and can't wait to enjoy the Vibes gathering with you!

 

  • Please bring masks, hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes.

  • Wash and sanitize your hands often.  Avoid touching your face. 

  • There will be disinfectant spray and disposable towels available to organizers, volunteers and patrons to regularly clean commonly used surfaces.  

  • Bring your own drinking water.

  • Be respectful of healthy boundaries and the Government of Alberta Physical Distancing Guidelines. Physical distancing means maintaining a distance of at least 2 metres between attendees who are not from the same household at all times. 

  • Find creative ways to connect with one another.  Carebears-vibes-heart-beaming-energy hugs are amazing!

  • We recommend having longer conversations in areas where the music isn’t too loud.  This way, you will not have to shout at one another, or lean in too close.  

  •  Please keep the space and your camping area clean. Please bring a bag and recycling bag for your waste. This is a pack it in/ pack it out event.

 Drop in: 7319 29 Ave NW, Edmonton – 9:00 – 4:30 PM – 7 Days a week.

Nothing to eat or drink an hour before the appointment, no mouth wash and bring picture ID and your AB health care card.

  • When? August 13-15, 2021

  • In keeping with health regulations, please wear a mask when you arrive at the gate. Please wait in your vehicle for those ahead of you to finish checking in.  The gatekeeper will give you a wave when it is your turn.

  • Please show a digital or paper copy of your ticket upon arrival.

  • Let us know the name(s) of the people in your group. 

  • If you have not already done so, you will be asked to sign the “Vibes Terms and Conditions” as well as the “Covid-19 Liability Waiver and Release of Claims” which  are printed below.  

  • If you are staying in an RV, please ensure that you have purchased a Camper Pass from the Vibes Website. 

  • You will be given a wristband and directed to the parking and camping area.  

  • Set up your stuff, and then come join in the fun!

Vibes Music Festival 2021 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Vibes Music Festival is an all ages event.

​

You agree to keep your ticket safe from destruction, loss, or theft. Lost, destroyed, or stolen tickets will not be refunded or exchanged for any reason.

 

Participant agrees that he/she derives a material benefit from the event and/or participant’s involvement therein. By execution of this agreement, participant agrees and acknowledges that the event may involve activity, which may be potentially hazardous, and participant hereby assumes all risks associated with participating in the event, including, without limitation, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather and the condition of surfaces. Furthermore, participant expressly and unconditionally assumes all risks and dangers known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, and relating or incidental to participant’s involvement in the event and any activity associated therewith. Participant hereby releases, forever discharges and holds harmless the organizers, associated agents and facility owners from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including, but not limited to, death, personal injury or property damage of any kind or nature, arising out of or relating to participant’s involvement in the event and all activities associated therewith.

 

Your admission is subject to compliance with all laws and facility rules and regulations.

 

NO ALCOHOL and ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES permitted on these premises; soliciting illegal substances will result in criminal charges.

 

BANNED ITEMS: anything that can be considered a weapon (incl. knives, staffs/bats, bows, etc.), open flames, fireworks, flares, fire toys, etc.), fuel, generators, glass, non-biodegradable glitter, pets,  and any items public safety staff deem to pose a potential safety or security risk to any staff or guests. We are not required to maintain safekeeping of your possessions if they are determined to be banned items.

 

Vibes Music Festival and its organizers reserves the right to make changes to the rules at any time. Updated rules will be posted to the Vibes Music Festival website.

All attendees will be required to sign and abide by  the Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19

COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. COVID-19 SAFETY INFORMATION:

While participating in the Vibes Music Festival Event (“VMF”) “social distancing” must be practiced and face coverings worn at all times to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19.  Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, VMF has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.  However, VMF cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19.

 By signing this waiver you certify that you do not fall into any of the following categories:   

1. Individuals who currently or within the past fourteen (14) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others.

2. Individuals who have traveled at any point in the past fourteen (14) days either internationally or to a community in Canada that has experienced or is experiencing sustained community spread of COVID-19; or  

3. Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.

DUTY TO SELF-MONITOR:

Participants and volunteers agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath) and, contact VMF at Gallowayhiatt@gmail.com if he/she experiences symptoms of COVID-19 within 14 days after participating or volunteering with VMF.

LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS:

I acknowledge my participation and/or voluntarism with VMF, and I willingly engage in the Vibes Music Festival event.

RELEASE AND WAIVER. 

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, AND DEMANDS OF WHATEVER KIND OR NATURE AGAINST VIBES MUSIC FESTIVAL AND ITS AFFILIATED PARTNERS AND SPONSORS, INCLUDING IN EACH CASE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”), EITHER IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES OR LOSSES CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE, FAULT OR CONDUCT OF ANY KIND ON THE PART OF  THE RELEASED PARTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DEATH, BODILY INJURY, ILLNESS, ECONOMIC LOSS OR OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES, OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, WHICH I, MY HEIRS, ASSIGNEES, NEXT OF KIN AND/OR LEGALLY APPOINTED OR DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVES, MAY HAVE OR WHICH MAY HEREINAFTER ACCRUE ON MY BEHALF, WHICH ARISE OR MAY HEREAFTER ARISE FROM MY PARTICIPATION WITH THE ACTIVITY.

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK.

 

I acknowledge and understand the following:

1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;

2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties; and

3. I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with the Activity, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties.

MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND RELEASE. I acknowledge the health risks associated with the Activity, including but not limited to transient dizziness, lightheaded, fainting, nausea, muscle cramping, musculoskeletal injury, joint pains, sprains and strains, heart attack, stroke, or sudden death.  I agree that if I experience any of these or any other symptoms during the Activity, I will discontinue my participation immediately and seek appropriate medical attention. 

 

I DO HEREBY RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY CLAIM WHATSOEVER WHICH ARISES OR MAY HEREAFTER ARISE ON ACCOUNT OF ANY FIRST AID, TREATMENT, OR SERVICE RENDERED IN CONNECTION WITH MY PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY.

As a participant, volunteer, or attendee, You recognize that your participation, involvement and/or attendance at any Vibes Music Festival event or activity (“Activity”) is voluntary and may result in personal injury (including death) and/or property damage. By attending, observing or participating in the Activity, You acknowledge and assume all risks and dangers associated with your participation and/or attendance at the Activity, and You agree that: (a) Vibes Music Festival representatives (b) the property or site owner of the Activity, and (c) all past, present and future affiliates, successors, assigns, employees, volunteers, vendors, partners, directors, and officers, of such entities (subsections (a) through (c), collectively, the "Released Parties"), will not be responsible for any personal injury (including death), property damage, or other loss suffered as a result of your participation in, attendance at, and/or observation of the Activity, regardless if any such injuries or losses are caused by the negligence of any of the Released Parties (collectively, the "Released Claims").

BY SIGNING THIS WAIVER, ATTENDING AND/OR PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITY, YOU ARE DEEMED TO HAVE GIVEN A FULL RELEASE OF LIABILITY TO THE RELEASED PARTIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
